LOAD POSITIONING
Loads must be correctly distributed:
• Low centre of gravity.
Light loads in overhead cupboards. Heavy loads near
the floor.
• Evenly distributed between the right and left sides of
the motorhome.
• Appropriately distributed so that permitted axle loads
are not exceeded. Permitted axle loads are stated on a
plate in the engine bay.
In the living area, there must be no loose objects that
could present a danger to passengers during travel. Loads
must be secured or positioned so that there is no risk of
them shifting, working loose or causing damage.
GARAGE (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT)
When loading, ensure that the door’s frame is not over-
loaded and does not risk being deformed. Ensure that
loads are supported by the garage floor (not by the door’s
frame).
Secure loads before travel.
NB!
Risk of damaging the door’s frame.
Avoid overloading the door’s frame.
GENERAL
Avoid overloading. Ensure that the motorhome’s total
permitted weight is not exceeded.
