The product is rated IP44 and is suitable for outdoor use. Installation should only be carried out
by a qualified electrician. Do not use a more powerful bulb than the light fitting is intended for.
The light should be connected to an earthed 230 V power point. For best results and your own
safety, we kindly ask you to follow these instructions carefully. Do not try to modify the product in
any way.
Positioning
When choosing a place to mount the light it is important to see that the light is not more than
± 4° from the horizontal lengthways (see fig. A). The light must NOT be fastened to or pointed
towards a flammable surface. (see figs. B and C).
Installation
Installation should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Before beginning any electrical work, make sure that the electric cables are not live by turning off
the power and the respective fuse for the circuit.
1. Use the wall bracket as a template for marking out the screw holes. Use a 8 mm drill bit and
drill to a depth of about 4 cm. Mount the wall bracket using suitable screws and wall plugs.
Attach the light temporarily to the bracket. If you are working from below the light, it might be
easier to attach the light upside down whilst completing step 2 and 3, below.
2. Remove the cover plate from the connection box on the back of the light and feed in the power
cable through the cable gland in the bottom of the connection box. Pass the cable under
the cable clamp and connect the cable to the terminal block as follows:
