Safety

Warning:
Do not open the casing! Certain components within the product’s casing
carry dangerous currents. Contact with these may give you an electric shock.
• This product should only be repaired by qualified service technicians.
• The product should not be taken apart or modified.
• Do not place the product where there is a risk of it falling into water or other liquid.
Do not place any objects containing liquid, such as flower vases or drinks, on top
of the product.
• This soldering station is not a toy; do not let children use it without supervision.
• Never leave the soldering station unattended when it is on.
• The soldering station is intended for indoor use only. Do not expose it to water
or moisture.
• Let the soldering tip and holder cool before changing the tip.
• Never use solder that contains lead or cadmium for joints that will eventually come
into contact with food.
• A damaged mains lead may only be changed by a qualified technician.
• Soldering work causes gas to be formed from the solder and flux.
Use an extraction fan when needed.
• This product must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from physical
or mental impairment. This product should not be used by anyone who does not
have the proper experience or knowledge of the product unless they have been
instructed in its use by someone who takes responsibility for their safety.
• Never let children play with the product.

Products having a type Y attachment:
• The power lead should be regularly checked. Never use the device if the power
lead or plug is damaged.
• The power lead be changed if damaged in order to avoid the risk of chock or
fire, but this should only be done by the manufacturer, qualified service centre
or professional.
