WARNING
With the battery connected and the model
switched on the motors are now live. The
Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) will go through
it’s start up procedure and will emit a series of
beeps while it configures throttle positions. The
motor could start unexpectedly and we
recommend that the model is restrained and that
the operator keeps clear of the rotors during
handling.
Refit the nosecone by sliding onto the front of the
model.
Locate grommets over the retaining bar and gently
press into place.
TRIM ADJUSTMENTS.
The transmitter incorporates sliders for minor
adjustments to aileron (Roll) and elevator (Pitch) trim.
Further adjustment may be accomplished by
unclipping the ball links and winding the link in or out.
SECTION 5: ADJUSTMENTS &
MAINTENANCE
BODY REFITTING.
Slide the body over the chassis and align holes in
fuselage with chassis.
Insert retaining bar
through body and
chassis.
Push the skid type
landing gear in to
locating sockets
Refit the nose cone as detailed previously.
BLADE REPLACEMENT.
To replace a damaged or broken blade use the supplied
1.5 mm Allen key to remove the blade grip bolt.
Insert new blade and tighten until a slight
resistance is felt on the blade and grip.
Do not over tighten.
BODY REMOVAL.
Remove the nose cone as detailed previously.
Pull the skid type landing gear from its locating
sockets.
Withdraw the retaining bar from the chassis and
pull the body clear of the chassis.
