20 2001 Turf 2 XRT Gasoline Vehicle Owner’s Manual
The park brake pedal is the small raised portion in the upper left corner of the brake pedal. It has the word
PARK molded into it and the words PARK BRAKE marked on top of it (Figure 6, Page 19). To set the park
brake, depress the brake pedal firmly and tilt the park brake portion of the pedal forward (Figure 8, Page 20).
∆ WARNING
• The park brake pedal will release automatically when either the accelerator or brake pedal is
depressed. The park brake has multiple locking positions and should be firmly pressed and
locked to prevent the vehicle from rolling.
CHOKE
The choke (1) is located on the seat support panel below and to the left of the driver’s left knee. If the vehicle
is hard to start in cool or cold temperatures, activate choke: depress the accelerator pedal halfway to the
floor, then pull the choke handle out to activate. Release the handle when the engine begins to run smoothly
(Figure 9, Page 20).
