3.5. Remove the differential lock cable.
3.5.1. Place differential lock handle in the disengaged direction.
3.5.2. Using a pair of pliers, apply pressure to the locking tabs of the cable end (1) where it
attaches to the differential lock handle mounting bracket (Figure 16-13, Page 16-8).
3.5.3. While maintaining pressure on the locking tabs, pull the differential lock cable toward the
rear of the vehicle to disconnect the cable from the bracket (Figure 16-13, Page 16-8).
3.5.4. With handle in the engaged position and the cable disconnected from the bracket, rotate the
cable connector toward the driver side of the vehicle to disconnect the cable from the differ-
ential lock lever (1) (Figure 16-14, Page 16-9).
3.5.5. Remove wire tie (6) securing the cable to the vertical support (Figure 16-117, Page 16-50).
3.6. Remove the cover from the electrical component box. Then loosen the hardware securing the
accelerator cable to the box. Disconnect the cable from the actuator cam and remove it from the
box (Figure 16-16, Page 16-9).
3.7. Disconnect the engine ground wire from the oil filler tube mounting bracket (Figure 16-17, Page

Rotate the cable

Remove fuel line.
