Remove the dipstick.

Make sure that the oil level is between the maximum (1) and minimum (2) indicators

If the oil level is below the minimum indicator, add engine oil.
12.
Install the dipstick.
NOTE:
Make sure that the arrow points towards the engine.
ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT
CAUTION
• Hot engine oil will cause skin burns. Do not change the engine oil when the engine is hot. Let the
engine temperature decrease before the oil is changed.
CAUTION
• Too much engine oil can decrease engine performance and damage the engine. Do not exceed the
recommended engine oil capacity.
Before the engine oil is replaced:
• Disable the vehicle.
• Disconnect the battery.
To replace the engine oil:
