8.3 Unit booklet
It’s advisable to create a unit booklet to take notes of the unit interventions.
In this way it will be easier to adequately note the various interventions and aid any troubleshooting.
Report on the booklet:
•
date
•
intervention description
•
carried out measures etc.
8.4 Standby mode
If a long period of inactivity is foreseen:
•
turn off the p wer
•
avoid the risk of frost (empty the system or add glycol)
Turn off the p wer to avoid electrical risks or damages by lightning strikes.
With lower temperatures keep heaters turned on in of the electrical panel (option).
It’s recommended that the re-start after the stopping period is performed by a qualified technician, especially after seasonal stops or seasonal
switching.
When restarting, refer to what is indicated in the “start-up” section.
Schedule technical assistance in advance to avoid hitches and to guarantee that the system can be used when required.
8.5 Water side exchanger
It is very important for the exchanger to be able to provide the maximum thermal exchange, therefore it is essential for the inner surfaces to
be clean of dirt and incrustations.
Periodically check the
diff
erence between the temperature of the supply water and the condensation temperature: if the
diff
erence is greater
than 8°C–10°C it is advisable to clean the exchanger.
The clear
ing must be eff
ected:
•
with circulation opposite to the usual one
•
with a speed at least 1,5 times higher than the nominal one
•
with an appropriate product moderately acid (95% water + 5% phosphoric acid)
•
after the cleaning rinse with water to inhibit the action of any residual product
8.6 Circulating pumps
Check:
•
no leaks
•
bearing status (anomalies are highlighted by abnormal noise and vibration)
•
the terminal protection covers are closed and the cable holders are properly positioned
8.7 Insulations
Check the condition of the insulations: if necessary apply glue and and renew the seals.
8.8 Water fil er
Check that no impurities prevent the correct passage of water.
8.9 Flow Switch
•
controls the operations
•
remove incrustations from the palette
