cable and power supply cables, into

Repeater's

terminal block. Connect

Volt ship's supply or a

battery
to
the
terminal
bl9ck as shown

GETTING OPERATIONAL
Switch
on
the GPS receiver. Refer to the manufacture r's
handbook,
a
nd
set up
the unit to
se
nd
NMEA
version
2.0
(or
later
v
ers
io
n) at
4800
Baud. When the GPS
R
e
p
e
ate
r is
powered
on,
the words Clipper GPS appear
momentarily on
the screen. Note that the words
are
shown in a mixture of
U
pp
e
r
case (capitals) and lower case
characters.
This is
because
the numerical display is also used to
display
text.
The International Seven-bar Substitution Character
Set
(ISBSCS,

shortened to ISCS) is u

d
to represent the
Upper-case
alpha-numeric characters used by
most GPS
receivers,
as shown
