The CLIMEXEL 850E/950E dehumidifi er features an IP24 protection rating meaning it is splash proof and cannot be
penetrated by solid objects larger than 12 mm (fi ngers).

In France, it must be installed beyond protection volume 2:

-    3.5 meters from a body of water.

-    2.4 meters from a bath, sink or any other water source.

Nevertheless, if a 30mA differential circuit breaker is mounted at the head of the dehumidifi er's dedicated power line
(to be installed by a qualifi ed electrician), it may be placed in protection volume 2:

-    2 meters from a body of water.

-    0.6 meters from a bath, sink or any other water source.

The dehumidifi er must be plugged into an earthed outlet.

Before plugging the device in, check the following:
•  The voltage corresponds to that indicated on the information plate.
•  That the electrical network can support the operation of the dehumidifi er (call in a qualifi ed electrician if necessary).
•  That the plug on the power cable is compatible with the outlet.

In case of doubt, have the installation examined, and if necessary modified, by a qualified electrician.  The
manufacturer will not be held liable in the event of failure to respect these safety measures.

Important: Never allow current carrying parts to come into contact with water: danger of a short circuit!

•  The dehumidifi er is safe. However, as with other electrical appliance, it should be operated with care.
•  Do not allow children to play with or around the device.
•  Do not clean the dehumidifi er by spraying it or using solvents.
•  Do not insert any object into the dehumidifi er gratings.
•  Disconnect from the mains before cleaning the unit or any of its components.
•  Never connect the device to an electrical outlet using an extension cord. If an outlet is not available, one should be
  installed by a licenced electrician.
•

WARNING:   Interventions, other than regular maintenance, cleaning or replacement of the fi lter, should be carried

out by an approved after sales technician or by the Climexel supplier. Failure to respect this instruction could result in
the cancellation of the warranty.
