FORCED SCAN
To force a scan for new equipment
Step 1
Turn the touch pad ON
Step 2
Turn the touch pad OFF
and keep holding the ON-
OFF icon until the clock
area shows - - - -.
Release the ON-OFF button and the touch pad will scan for the new unit
and re-initialise.
Step 3
When the time clock returns to normal, turn the touch pad on and check
the all the units have coded successfully. If the units have been allocated
to different zones, turn the zones on to check unit operation.
Step 4
If a unit did not code correctly, restart the process from
CODE / ZONE ALLOCATION OF ADDITIONAL UNITS – Step 2
Step 5
The Forced Scan coding function will allocate the units that have been
manually assigned to the designated area e.g. evaporative air conditioning
E01, E02, E03 or E04 or ducted heating HC01, HC02, HC03 or HC04 etc.
to the relevant zone icon on the touchpad control.
