2.Disassembly
Removing the Optical (CD/DVD) Device
1. Turn off the computer, and remove the battery ( page 2 - 5 ).
2. Locate the secondary hard disk bay cover and remove screws & ( Figure 5a )
.
3. Remove the hard disk bay cover ( Figure 5b ) .
4. Remove the screw at point ( Figure 5c
)
, and use a screwdriver to carefully push out the optical device out of
the bay at point ( Figure 5d ) .
5. Reverse the process to install any new optical (CD/DVD) device
.

b. Remove the cover.
c. Remove the screw.
d. Push the optical device
out off the computer at
point 6.
