BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging material and any labels, transport protection stickers, etc. before fi rst use.
Warnings and type plates must not be removed!
• Fully charge the battery before initial operation (see chapter „Charging the battery“).
BATTERY CHARGING
• Only charge the battery with the supplied AC adapter.
• Do not cover the battery and AC adapter during charging.
• When charging, the battery may be inside the device or charged separately. The wall mount also acts
as a charging cradle, and the power cord can be connected directly to the wall mount. In this case, the
battery will charge whenever the unit is mounted in the wall bracket.
• Do not use the device while the battery is charging or while the power cord is connected to the
battery.
• Before fi rst use, as well as after each complete discharge of the battery, it must be fully charged before
further use.
• Before inserting the battery into the device, check the contacts for cleanliness.
• If an error occurs during charging, disconnect the power immediately.
• Always connect the supplied power cord fi rst to the battery or charging cradle (wall mount) and then
to a wall outlet.
• Never pull the plug by the cable from the charging socket or from the socket.
• When you charge the battery in the device, the charging status is indicated by LEDs on the back of the
handle unit.
