8. Tighten the straps for both PVC conduits. Keep the cover (and straps) even as you tighten the straps.
9. Pull the cover back into position and insert the cover straps into the end ratchets and tighten slightly.

Tighten the Main Cover
Complete these steps to properly tighten the main cover.
1. Slightly tighten the ends of the main cover first using the QH1061 ratchets located on the first and last
rafters. If strap buildup in the ratchet is too great, loosen the strap and trim off the excess as needed.
2. When the corner ratchets have the cover taught, tighten the QH1065 ratchets located on the
out
side of the
rafters.
TIP:
For easier tightening of the main cover and to get a uniform appearance, multiple individuals can be
used to complete this procedure.
3. After the cover is properly tightened and secured along the sides, return to the ratchets at the end rafters
and tighten the bonnet of the main cover.
