Volume and tone

Use these controls to adjust handset volume during

a call. After you hang up, volume and tone settings

remain set for the next call.

Amplification resets to off when a call ends. If you

prefer

amplification always on, see

page 41.

To adjust the handset's volume and tone

Your phone is equipped with a specialized

amplification function designed to fit your needs.

During a conversation you can adjust the

Vol

Vol -

control on the left side of the handset

and use the

AMP

key on the right side. You can

also adjust the

Tone

control to fit the levels to your

hearing requirements. The selected volume will be

displayed on the LCD.
