b . Using your index finger, lift the filter lid to open
(U) .
c . Insert the filter into the filter reservoir by lining
up

(up arrow) on the filter bar with (unlock
symbol) on the lid (V) .
d . Turn the bar clockwise to the (locked symbol)
position . Be sure filter is locked in place
(W)

Tip: The bar must be fully aligned with the
(locked position) for the filter lid to close .
e . Close the filter lid .
CLEANING
Pitcher
1 . Remove lid assembly:
a . To remove the lid assembly, pull the quick-connect hose out of the storage
compartment .
b . Holding the pitcher by the handle with one hand,
grasp quick-connect hose with your other hand
– as close as possible to where it connects to the
pitcher (X) .
c . Gently pull up on the hose to release the lid
assembly .

TROUBLESHOOTING
Filter lid does not close Make sure the filter is securely locked
in place . Verify the bar on the filter is fully
aligned with the (locked symbol .
Not able to attach Follow instructions for Attaching
connector to the faucet Connector to Faucet .
Water leaks or sprays Verify that you placed the washer
from connection at faucet between the faucet and the adapter .
Confirm that you have pushed the faucet
connector all the way onto the faucet .
Cannot remove the filter Turn filter bar past the unlock position
and keep turning until filter is released .
