Pouring

Clean the pitcher, funnel and lid periodically. Wash the pitcher, funnel and lid with a
clean sponge and mild kitchen detergent. Rinse thoroughly.

5. Replacing the Filter Cartridge (EJC3)

Pull upward to detach filter cartridge.
Dispose of used filter cartridges in accordance with local waste regulations.
Insert new filter cartridge and press into position.  Follow installation instructions (pg.7)
Dispose the used cartridge or product in accordance with the garbage separation regulations instituted
by the relevant local authorities.
The filter cartridge replacement period is approximately 3 months, however, this period may vary based
on the amount of water used, water quality and the temperature of water filtered (colder water needs
longer filtering). In general, use your filter counter as a guide for replacement, but earlier replacement
is recommended in the following circumstances:

•  When the odor or taste of chlorine is detected

•  If the unit has not been used for a long period of time

6. Maintenance

Clean the pitcher, the funnel and the lid periodically.

●

Wash with a clean sponge and mild kitchen detergent, and then rinse off thoroughly. Failure to rinse
thoroughly may result in cracks or deteriorated water quality.
