Safety notes
■
This device may be used by children ages 8 and over as well as
persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities or
those lacking experience and/or knowledge if they are super-
vised or have been instructed in how to safely use the device
and have understood the risks associated with operating the de-
vice.
■
Children must not play with the device.
■
Children must not perform cleaning and user maintenance of
the device unless they are 8 years of age or older and are su-
pervised.
■
Keep children under 8 years of age and animals away from the
device and the mains cable.
■
Children must be under supervision to ensure that they do not
play with the device and/or injure themselves with the device.
■
Only use and store the device out of the reach of children and
animals. Improper use may result in injury and electrical shock.
The mains cable must also not be accessible for children and
animals.
■
If the device is not supervised, before assembling, disassem-
bling or cleaning the device, it must always be disconnected
from the power supply.
■
Never immerse the device, the mains cable and the plug in water
or other liquids and make sure that there is no risk of them falling
in water or getting wet.
■
If the device, the mains cable or the device plug is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer or customer service or
by a similarly quali
fi
ed person (e.g. quali
fi
ed workshop) to avoid
any risks.
Risks of injury
■
Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and animals.

Keep animals, hair, jewellery, loose-

tting clothing,

ngers and all other body parts
away from the nozzles of the device. They could be caught in the vacuum cleaner. If
the vacuum cleaner attaches itself to the
fl
oor, turn it off immediately.
■
Be very careful that you don’t fall when vacuuming stairs.
■
Ensure that the connected mains cable does not pose a tripping hazard.
