Attaching and Detaching Accessories
CAUTION!
■
Before you attach or detach any accessories, ensure that the device is not connec-
ted to the mains power.
You can also use the vacuum cleaner without a nozzle.
Combi Nozzle
• The combi nozzle (

) is used as a crevice or brush nozzle.
If you press the release button on the brush attachment
and slide it forwards as far as it will go, you get a brush
nozzle. If you slide it backwards, this produces a crevice
nozzle.
Crevice nozzle: The crevice nozzle is suitable for cleaning all nooks and crannies that
cannot be reached with the other nozzles (e.g. between upholstery).
Brush nozzle: Use this nozzle for cleaning all uneven objects, furniture, lamps, pro
fi
les
and skirting boards, window ledges, etc.
• Plug the black and green
combi nozzle into the suction
opening (

). It must engage audibly. To detach the black
and green
combi nozzle, press the attachment release
button (

) and pull off the nozzle.
• Plug the completely black combi nozzle onto the telesco-
pic tube (
C
). It does not engage audibly. To detach the
nozzle, pull it off.
Floor Nozzle and Telescopic Tube
With the
fl
oor nozzle (
B
) and the telescopic tube (
C
) you can use the hand-held vacuum
cleaner as a vacuum cleaner on the
fl
oor.
The
fl
oor nozzle is suitable for both carpets and hard
fl
oors.
For hard
fl
oors,
fl
ip down the foot switch. This will deploy a
brush on the bottom of the nozzle.
• Plug
the
fl
oor nozzle onto the telescopic tube. Twist the
nozzle back and forth slightly as you do this.
• To detach the
fl
oor nozzle, pull it off.
• Plug the telescopic tube onto the suction opening (
8
). It
must engage audibly.
• To detach the telescopic tube, press the attachment re-
lease button (

) and pull off the tube.
