Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a electrical device yourself!
Problem
Possible cause / solution
The device only operates
slowly or doesn’t start.
• Is the rechargeable battery (

) empty? Charge it.
The suction power is weak.
• Is the battery too weak? Charge up the battery.
• Is the dust container (

) full? Empty the dust con-
tainer.

) heavily laden with dirt? Clean
it in accordance with the “Cleaning and storage”
chapter.
• Is the suction opening plugged?
Turn off the device and remove the blockage.
• It is also possible that some particles remain caught
in the carpet

oor or that they are too large / too
heavy for the device to vacuum up. Simply remove
the debris by hand.
Dust escapes from the
device during cleaning.
• Check whether the dust container and

have been inserted correctly and adjust the

Unusual odour
• A new odour is normal when the device is used for

rst time; it disappears after a while.
