2.6 Safety identifications on the machine

On the manual sweeper the safety identifications are atta-
ched (Fig.1), which must be observed and followed..

Safety identifications attached to the machine must not 
be removed. Damaged or missing safety identifications 
may cause errors, personal injury and material damage. 
They must be replaced immediately.

If the safety identifications are not visible and compre-
hensible at first glance, the machine must be stopped 
until new safety identifications have been attached.

Intended use

The manual sweeper is intended for sweeping level and 
dry areas such as entrance drives, terraces, yards, etc.

The manual sweeper may be operated only by personnel 
who have been trained in its use.

The proper use also includes observing all indications in 
these operating instructions. Any use beyond the proper 
use or any other use is regarded as misuse. 

Under no 

circumstances may personnel be lifted. 

Stürmer Maschinen GmbH accepts no liability for any 
constructional or technical modifications carried out on 
the electric manual sweeper. 

Any claims due to damages because of not intended 
use are excluded.

Even if all safety regulations are observed a residual risk 
in the operation of the manual sweeper will remain, as 
described below. 

All persons working with the manual sweeper must be 
aware of these residual risks and follow the instructions 
which prevent any accidents or damage caused by 
these residual risks. 

- Risk of injury of upper and lower limbs while equip-
ment is operating.

-  Never suck the glowing, flammable, explosive or 

toxic substances.

-  Do not sweep the wet leaves or similar.
