5. Fill your ingredients into the mixing bowl (8).
6. Check that the control knob (4) is set to “

7. Hold the swivel arm securely. Push the lever (3) up and at
the same time lower the arm (2) slowly by hand. Release
the lever (3).
8. If you need the splash guard lid (1), do not lower the
arm (2) completely. Hold the splash guard lid (1) so that
the replenishing opening is in front of you. Then set it
so onto the mixing bowl (8) that the bowl edge is inside
the three keyways. Use the lever (3) to lower the arm (2)
completely.
9. Insert the power plug (10) into a suitable socket.

• Short time operation: With heavy dough, do not
operate the appliance longer than 5 minutes and then let
it cool down for 10 minutes.

End Operation and Remove the Bowl
• At the end of work, set the control knob (4) to “
0
”. Pull the
power plug (10).
• Swivel the lever (3) in arrow direction and hold it in that
position.
• Move the swivel arm (2) by hand to the top position and
release the lever (3).
• Remove the attachment.
• Turn the mixing bowl (8) clockwise for a short turn to
remove it.
• You can loosen the finished dough with a scraper and
remove it from the mixing bowl (8).
• Clean all used components as described in the chapter
“Cleaning”.

Sponge mixture (basic recipe) Speed 3 - 4
Ingredients:
250 g soft butter or margarine, 250 g sugar, 1 package of
vanilla sugar or 1 package Citro-Back, 1 pinch of salt, 4 eggs,
500 g wheat flour, 1 package of baking powder, ca. 1/8 liter
milk.
Preparation:
Fill the wheat flour with the remaining ingredients into the
mixing bowl (8) and mix it with the mixing hook first for 30
seconds at speed 2 and then ca. 3 minutes at speed 3.
Grease the form or line it with baking paper, fill in the dough,
and bake. Before the cake is removed from the oven, test to
see if it is done: With a sharp wooden stick, pierce the center
of the cake. If no dough sticks to it, it’s done. Place the cake
on a baking grid to let it cool.
