Unpacking the appliance
Remove the appliance and accessories from the carton.
Do not throw the packing away immediately; keep
it together with the interior packing and guarantee
documents during the entire guarantee period.
• Place the appliance on a smooth, even and stable work
area.
WARNING!
Do not insert the power supply plug of the appliance
into the socket without having assembled all necessary
accessories.
• In order to remove possible contaminations from
production, rinse the cover (4) and other accessories
(5,6) before fi rst use in water.
• Clean the outside of the motor housing (2) and the
inside and outside of the bowl (8) with a slightly damp
cloth without additives.
• Dry all parts after cleaning with a dry cloth.

• Put the cover on.
• Turn the cover anticlockwise in the direction

is the operating position.
NOTES ON THE SAFETY SWITCH:
- The appliance has been equipped with a safety
switch, which prevents the motor starting, if the
cover is not on (Danger of injury).
- The safety switch of the motor housing presses
onto the edge of the bowl after putting on and
tightening. The appliance can be turned on now.
- Check correct fi t of the motor housing and of the
cover, if the motor does not start.
Timer
The timer (1) controls how long the appliance works.
Producing ice cream takes approx. 20 to 40 minutes,
depending upon mixture. If necessary readjust or reset the
timer.
Electrical connection
Make sure that the timer is set to „
OFF
“.
Connect the mains cable to correctly installed and earthed
socket 230 V, 50 Hz.
Notes on ice cream / sorbet production
When manufacturing ice cream always observe the
following steps, before lowering the stirring paddle (6) into
the mixture.
■
Make sure that the sugar has completely dissolved in
the mixture.
■
Make sure that all ingredients are well mixed.
■
Use only ripe and soft fruits. Wash the fruit, remove the
peel, pips, seeds or stones. Then cut the fruit into small
pieces.
■
For a better taste you can also use fresh pure fruit
juices.
■
Fill at the most 800 ml ice cream and/or mixture into
the bowl. The ice cream will not be thoroughly mixed, if
you fi ll in more.
■
Always put the bowl into the deep-freeze for at least for
12 hours before making ice cream.
