Start-up
NOTE:
Direct mains power operation is not possible.
Charge Batteries
• Switch the device off.
• Connect the DC connector to the DC input (13) on the
device.
• Connect the power adaptor to a properly installed earthed
wall outlet 230 V~ 50 Hz.
CAUTION:
Place the mains cable in such way that it does not become a
trip hazard.
NOTE:
• The switch illumination flashes during the charging
process.
• Charging takes 16 hours before first use and 12 hours for
following charges.
• The batteries are fully charged when the switch illumina-
tion lights up continuously.
• Disconnect the device from the power adaptor.
• Disconnect the power adaptor from mains power supply.
On / Off
Press the On / Off switch (9) to switch the device on or off.
NOTE:
The switch illumination lights up during operation.
Operating Instructions
Telescopic Handle
The handle is equipped with a telescopic tube for individual
lengthening or shortening.
• Slide the release button (11) with one hand towards the
icon. Use the other hand to extract the handle from the
telescopic tube.
• Extract the telescopic tube as far as desired. Release the
button (11) to lock the telescopic tube in place.
• Follow the same steps to retract the telescopic tube. Slide
the release button (11) towards the icon while pushing
the telescopic tube with the other hand.
Nozzle Attachments
• Use the brush nozzle attachment (16) for upholstery. Con-
nect the nozzle attachment with the flat side down to the
suction opening (15). For removal pull the attachment off
again.
• Use the crevice nozzle attachment (17) to easily vacuum
corners and crevices. Connect the nozzle attachment with
the flat side down in the direction of the arrow to the suction
opening (15). For removal pull the attachment off again.
• For larger areas use the turbo floor brush (18). Connect the
brush attachment with the electrodes (20) aligned with the
electrode connectors (14) to the suction opening (15). The
floor brush will click into place. Press the lock button (19) to
disconnect and pull the brush attachment off.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING:
• Always disconnect the device from the power adaptor before
cleaning!
• Do not submerge the device in water.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasives for cleaning.
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
Clean the casing with a dry cloth.
Filter
Observe the illustrations on page 4!
• Press the release button (2) to remove the dust container.

• Remove the filter holder (5). Empty the dust container into a
trash bin. (Fig. b)
• Turn the filter basket (3) towards to remove it (Fig. c).
Clean the filter basket with a brush.
• Remove the filter fleece (4) to empty it. (Fig. d)
• Clean dust container, filter basket, filter fleece and filter
holder under running water, if necessary. (Fig. e)
CAUTION:
• Only reassemble these parts completely dry!
• Do not wash the filters in the washing machine; do not
use a hair dryer for drying.
Floor Brush
Observe the illustrations on page 4!
• Slide button (21) forward to remove the cover for the round
brush. (Fig. h and i)
• Cut threads and hair, which may have coiled around the
round brush. (Fig. k)
• Clean the round brush under running water, if necessary.

CAUTION:
Only reassemble these parts completely dry!
• Attach the round brush first on the left hand side. The square
profile is aligned with the cover. (Fig. m)
• Insert the square profile in the floor brush.
• Close the cover (22). (Fig. n)
