Avoid damage to the non-stick coated grill surfaces!

•

Only use wooden or teflon spatula.

•  Do not use pointed objects (e.g. knife, fork) on the grill

surface.

•  Do not use plastic utensils. They can melt.

•  The non-stick coated grill surfaces enable dishes to be

prepared without the use of fat.

•  If you want to use oil ensure that it is highly heatable,

such as sunflower oil. Do not use olive oil or butter, since

they start smoking already at low temperatures.

Assembly

•  Place the grill plate onto the appliance so that it is held

firmly in place.

•  Place the small pans underneath.

Electrical Connection

1.  Please ensure that the temperature control is set to

position “

0

ensure that the mains voltage corresponds with that of

the appliance. You can find information about this on the

rating plate.

earthed socket. The red indicator lamp lights up continu-

ously and indicates the operating function.

ance is in operation.

Temperature Control

Adjust the temperature control depending on the intended

purpose:

  NOTE:

•  Once the heat-up period is completed, the green

indicator lamp goes out.

•  During operation the green indicator lamp will turn on

and off to maintain the temperature. This is normal and

indicates that the temperature is being thermostatically

controlled and maintained.

Before Initial Use

which incinerates when the appliance is heating up. As a

result, there may be a small amount of smoke and odor

when using the appliance. However, this will subside after a

few times of use. This does not constitute a defect.

heating element with a slightly moistened cloth before

using it for the first time.

not

 use cleaning agents!
