Residual heat warning
When the hob has been operating for some time, there will be some
residual heat. The letter
“ ”appears to warn you to keep away from
it.

whenever you forget to switch off a cooking zone. The default

Spill protection system
If liquid is spilled onto the control panel the program will cut off the
power. To restore power, ensure the cooktop is turned off and that
the surface is cool. Wipe away the spill as per the cleaning
instructions contained on page 20 of this user manual. Now you can
turn the cooktop back on.
Using the timer
You can use the timer in two different ways:
• You can use it as a minute minder. In this case, the timer will not
turn any cooking zone off when the set time is up.
• You can set it to turn one cooking zone off after the set time is up.
• You can set the timer up to 99 minutes.
