Playback from an external device connected to the AUX INPUT
socket (8)
1. Plug an RCA cable into the input socket (8) and connect the other end to your device.
2. Press [ MODE ] on the speaker (or [ AUX ] on the remote control) until “AU 03 AUX”
appears on the display (“03” represents the current volume setting but could be
another value depending on your settings).
3. Start playback on your device.
4. The volume can be adjusted using the controls on the external device, the speaker
or the remote control.
5. Other playback settings can be controlled from the external device.
Note:
You cannot change track on the speaker or with the remote control when your
external device is connected via the AUX INPUT.
FM radio
1. Press [ MODE ] on the speaker (or [ FM ] on the remote control) until a radio
frequency appears on the display.
2. Press [ SCAN ] on the speaker (or [ SEARCH ] on the remote control) to start
the automatic station search-and-save function. The radio can save up to
40 stations.
3. When the search has finished you can press [ PREV/VOL ]/[ NEXT/VOL+ ] on
the speaker or [ l

]/[
►►
l ] on the remote control to choose between the saved
stations.
4. You can also tune into a station manually using short presses of the [ SEEK- ] or
[ SEEK+ ] buttons. If you want to save a station on a specific station preset slot you
first need to select the preset slot and then use short presses of the [ SEEK- ] or
[ SEEK+ ] buttons to tune into the desired station.
5. You can also hold in [ SEEK- ] or [ SEEK+ ] to start an automatic search for
a station. The search stops when a station has been found, pressing the button
again will resume the search.
Care and maintenance
• Unplug the mains adaptor from the wall socket before cleaning.
• Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Unplug the mains adaptor from the wall socket during thunderstorms.
• Unplug the mains adaptor from the wall socket and the speaker if the speaker is
not to be used for a long time.
