3. Place the flat photograph securely in
the photo holder, making sure that the photo-
graph is equally secure on all three sides.
4. Switch on the scanner by pressing [
];
it will start after a few seconds. Guide
the photo holder gently down into
the feeder slot (8).
5. “Capture” appears on the display.
6. Set the photograph’s format.

] to move to “Crop”.

] to set
the size of the photo in the photo holder.

Press [ ENTER ] to confirm.
7. Press [ SCAN ]; “Save” appears in the display.

8. Press [ ENTER ] to scan the image; this
takes about one second (the hour glass
disappears when it’s done).
9. Press the photo holder away from you and
pull it up carefully. If the photo is not perfectly
flat, it may become stuck. If you push
the photo holder away from you, this gives
the biggest possible opening for the photo-
graph when you pull up the photo holder.
