Safety
• The product is only intended for personal domestic use and only in the manner described
in this instruction manual.
• Do not subject the product to vibrations, impacts or extreme temperatures.
• Do not overload the product; the max weight of 5 kg must not be exceeded.
• Do not place anything on the product when it is not in use.
Batteries
1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the scale and insert 2 × AAA/LR03 batteries
(sold separately). Refer to the markings in the battery compartment to ensure correct polarity.
Never mix old and new batteries. Never mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
2. Refit the battery compartment cover.
Buttons
• [ UNIT ] Select the function (weighing foodstuffs in solid or liquid form), select the measurement unit.
• [
/ZERO ] On/off, reset, tare function.
On/off
• Press [
/ZERO ] to switch the scale on.
• When the display shows “0” press [
/ZERO ] to switch the scale off.
• When the display shows a weight, hold in [
/ZERO ] to turn off.
• The scale turns off automatically if it is left idle for 2 minutes.
Display backlight
The display backlight will go out automatically after 15 seconds, but the weight will still be displayed.
If you add additional ingredients (before the 2 minutes has elapsed), the light comes on again.
