Connecting an external Bluetooth device
1. Switch the speaker to standby mode by setting the power switch on the back
of the speaker (15) to the
ON
position. The standby mode will be indicated by
the LED indicator which will be lit a steady red. The speaker can now be switched
on using the [
] (3) button on the speaker or the corresponding button (28) on
the remote control.
2. Press [
] (15) on the remote control or press [
] (10) on the speaker until “-bt-”
appears on the display. The blue LED indicator on the display will flash to show that
Bluetooth is activated and that the speaker can be detected by external devices.
3. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired with the speaker.
4. The Bluetooth speaker will appear as
DM93B
on your device. Select this as
the device to be connected. Refer to the instruction manual of your device for
further clarification if you are unsure.
5. Once connection has been established the flashing blue LED will become a steady blue.
6. Start playback on the external device. Set the desired volume levels both on your
external device and the speaker. Other playback settings can now be controlled
using the remote control or the external device.
Note:
If you are prompted to enter a PIN code on your device, you should enter
0000
(four zeroes). Certain devices may also require you to approve the connection.
Connecting an external USB device
1. Connect a USB memory device to the USB port (1) of the speaker.
2. Switch the speaker to standby mode by setting the power switch on the back
of the speaker (15) to the
ON
position. The standby mode will be indicated by
the LED indicator which will be lit a steady red. The speaker can now be switched
on using the [
] (3) button on the speaker or the corresponding button (28) on
the remote control.
3. Press [ USB ] (19) on the remote control or press [
] (10) on the speaker until
“-USB-” appears on the display. Playback will start automatically.
Note:
The speaker can only play MP3 files. Any connection leads used must not be
longer than 0.5 m.
FM radio
1. Switch the speaker to standby mode by setting the power switch on the back of
the speaker (15) to the
ON
position.
2. The standby mode will be indicated by the LED indicator which will be lit a steady
red. The speaker can now be switched on using the [
] (3) button on the speaker
or the corresponding button (28) on the remote control.
Automatic channel scan
1. Press [ SEARCH ] (26) on the remote control. The speaker will search the frequency
range for accessible stations and save them automatically. Press [ SEARCH ] again
to stop the search.
2. Choose between the saved stations by pressing [ l
