Instructions for use
Never use charcoal or briquettes with the grill. The product must only be used in
the way described in this instruction manual.
1. Pour cold water into the tray.
Fill only
up to the maximum mark. The water
enables heat to be distributed better
over the entire cooking surface.
2. Place the food directly onto the cooking
grate. Never use a saucepan, frying pan
or aluminium foil on the cooking grate.
3. Turn on the grill by turning the
temperature control knob clockwise.
Experiment until you reach the desired
temperature. When the set temperature
has been reached, the indicator light will
go out.
4. The cooking grate can be set to three
different positions.
5. When you have finished cooking, always
turn the temperature down to zero and
disconnect the mains lead from the wall
socket.
The safety cut-off prevents the heating
element from being turned on when it is not
attached to the grill. If the heating element
does not turn on when it is attached to
the grill, check that it is correctly fitted.
Care and maintenance
•
Never immerse the heating element and the temperature control in water or
other liquid.
• Always unplug the lead from the wall socket and let the grill cool down completely
before cleaning.
• Clean the grill using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket and store the grill in a dry, dust-free
environment out of the reach of children whenever it is not to be used for an
extended period.
