Certified in accordance with EN14404:2004+A1:2010, type 2, level 1
Performance class
Type 2:
Knee pads placed in knee pad pockets inside the legs of work trousers 40-9949.
Level 1:
The knee pads are suitable for use on flat or uneven floor surfaces. The knee pads
offer protection against penetration by a force of up to 100 ± 5 N.
Instructions for use
• Working temperature: −30 to 50 °C.
• Place the knee pads into the internal pockets on the legs of the work trousers. Make sure that the markings on
the knee pads face outwards away from the knee and the concave sides of the knee pads are on the inside
facing the knee.
• Kneeling for long periods can lead to injuries and inflammation of the knee joints.
• The knee pads can counteract the causes of knee injury and inflammation but will never guarantee full protection.
• Be sure to take breaks and stretch your legs from time to time. Kneeling for 1 hour requires that you take
a break, walk around and stretch your legs for 10 minutes.
• Try to keep your back straight and avoid sitting on your heels.
• Seek medical attention if you experience repeated discomfort from kneeling for too long and have swelling in
your knees or calves.
• The knee pads should be used in pairs.
• One size fits all.
Caution:
• The wearing of knee pads is no guarantee of full protection from knee pains and injuries.
However, the risk of injury will be reduced if knee pads are worn.
• Never try to add additional protection or modify the knee pads in any way.
Care and maintenance
• Remove the knee pads from trousers before washing. Inspect the knee pads for damage before using them
again. Damaged or worn knee pads will not provide full protection and should be replaced.
• Material: 100% EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate)
• Store the knee pads in a dry place at normal room temperature when not in use. Do not store the knee pads
exposed to prolonged sunlight.
