1. Safety
•
This product provides moderate protection from blows and impacts.
•
The helmet and its attachments must not be modified in any way.
•
If the helmet or any of its attachments is damaged in such a way
that the protection afforded is compromised, the damaged item
must be replaced before use.
•
The helmet does not protect the wearer from splashes of molten
metal, hot solids or electrical hazards. Bear in mind that the visor
does not afford equally good protection as approved safety glasses.
•
Always make sure that you have the proper protection for your
working conditions. If in doubt, check the relevant EU standards.
•
Use only spare parts and accessories approved by the manufacturer.
•
The ear defenders must form a tight seal over your ears and
the sealing ring/cushion must be in good condition/undamaged.
•
This product conforms to PPE Directive 89/686/EEC.
•
Always put the ear defenders on before exposing yourself to any
noise and wear them at all times.
•
Check your ear defenders regularly: The cushions should be intact,
the cups free from cracks and the headband should be flexible.
The ear defenders will be less effective over time, resulting from
wear and tear, chemical damage, etc.
Warning
: If these directions are not followed, the noise reduction
capability can be impaired.
Warning:
Always wear additional safety glasses if there is any risk of
small particles passing through the mesh visor and injuring your eyes.
