Connecting an external device
Connecting via Bluetooth
1. Switch the speaker on and hold [ SOURCE/PAIR ] (9) in for 4–5 seconds.
2. The Bluetooth indicator (1) will begin flashing quickly which indicates that the speaker is ready to
be paired with other Bluetooth devices.
3. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired with the speaker.
4. The speaker will appear on your device as "
Speaker Clas Ohlson Ltd Ed"
, select it and pair it with
your device. Once contact has been established, the Bluetooth indicator will shine steadily.
Note:
If the external Bluetooth device prompts you for a password, enter the code
0000
.
5. If you wish to make the speaker detectable for other Bluetooth devices, e.g. to pair another device:
a)
Turn off Bluetooth on the last connected device.
b)
Activate Bluetooth on the new device to be paired.
c)
Hold [ SOURCE/PAIR ] (9) in for 4–5 seconds.
d)
The Bluetooth indicator will begin flashing quickly, meaning that the speaker is detectable for
other Bluetooth devices again.
Connecting via the AUX IN
1. Connect the AUX-in socket (4) to the audio output of the external device using an audio cable.
2. Switch the speaker on and quick-press [ SOURCE/PAIR ]. The AUX-in indicator LED (2) will shine steadily.
3. Start playback on the external device.
Playback
1. Connect an external audio source either via Bluetooth or the AUX-in socket.
2. Start playback on your external Bluetooth device.
3. Adjust the master volume (5) on the speaker and the volume on the external device. In order to
be able to play loud music on the speaker, the input volume needs to be high. The volume on
the external device should therefore be set to its maximum level.

] (10) to pause playback, press it again to resume playback.

] (8) to skip to the next track.

] in for 2–3 seconds to return to the previous track.
Note:
If you have connected a mobile phone to the speaker via Bluetooth and receive a call whilst
you are listening to music, the music will be switched off automatically. Once the call has been ended,
music playback will be resumed (if your phone settings enable this).
Care and maintenance
• Clean the speaker using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or
corrosive chemicals.
• Always unplug the speaker and store it in a dry, dust-free environment out of children’s reach
whenever it is not to be used for an extended period.
• If the speaker is left unused for over 2 months the battery should be recharged in order to retain
full capacity.
