• Keys
- Use the radio keys (Key 1, Key 2…) in order to choose the desired key.
- Enter the characters you wish to use. All other devices must also have
the same settings.
- The characters can be entered as Hex or ASCII according to the Key Size
settings. Hex characters are: numbers between 0–9 and letters from A–F.
• Passphrase
Enter the desired characters in the Passphrase field and click on
Generate Keys
in order to configure the characters. Four fields are
generated for 64 bit and only the selected fields for 128 bit are generated.
6.8 WPA-PSK
WPA-PSK configuration
• Security System
WPA-PSK encryption Data is encrypted before transmission and
the encryption is also safer than WEP. This is also the preferred setting.
• Passphrase
Enter a key that has 8 to 63 characters. All other devices must also use
the same settings.
• Encryption
Select the desired encryption method. All other devices must share
the same settings (AES or TKIP).
