the measuring range and an accurate reading cannot be displayed.
5.2 Measuring resistance (Ω)
Warning:
Before measuring the resistance of a circuit, first shut the power off and
make sure that any capacitors in the circuit are discharged.
1. Check that the circuit is not car-
rying any current and discharge
all capacitors before measuring.
2. Set the function selector to .
3. Connect the black test lead to
the COM input terminal and
the red test lead to the upper
input terminal.
4. Connect the test leads to
the circuit. The measuring range
is selected automatically (if
shows on the display).
5. Press [ Rel Δ ] if you wish to
change the measuring range
manually.
6. Read the value; press [ HOLD ]
if you have difficulty seeing
the display or if you wish to save
the reading.
7. Press [ HOLD ] again to exit
the measurement mode.
8. Disconnect the test leads.
Resistance measurement ranges
400 Ω, 4 kΩ, 40 kΩ, 400 kΩ, 4 MΩ
and 40 MΩ.
