Replacing the filter cartridge
The number of times the pump filter needs cleaning/changing depends on how
often the hot tub is used but generally speaking it should be cleaned/changed every
third week.
1. Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket.
2. Open the air purge valve on the lid of the filter chamber by turning it anticlockwise.
3. Remove the lid of the filter chamber and take the filter cartridge out.
4. Rinse the filter with water, but if it remains dirty after washing it should be replaced.
5. Refit the cleaned or new filter and screw the lid back onto the filter chamber.
Care and maintenance of the hot tub
• The filter pump is very effective at removing dirt and particles from the water
but the addition of chemicals is recommended to prevent the growth of harmful
bacteria and help keep the water clean and clear.
• A leaf skimmer can be used to remove leaves from the surface of the water.
• Wash the sides of the hot tub with soap and water.
• Store the drained hot tub in a dry and cool location.
