To pull out the wire:
Attach the hook and reel in a safe position. Press down the release spring in the direction of the arrow “A”
as shown in the illustration below. Lift the lever, hold it in position “C” and press down the stop pawl in the
direction of the arrow “D”. Pull out at the same time as much wire as necessary.
To tension the wire:
Press down the release spring in the direction of the arrow “B”. Engage the drive pawl in the ratchet.
The steel wire is tensioned every time the lever is moved up and down.
To loosen the wire:
Press down the release spring in the direction of the arrow “A”. Press the lever slowly and firmly towards
the stop pawl until the drive pawl lifts the stop pawl up then releases it. The ratchet loosens off one tooth
when you release the lever. Release the tension one tooth at a time by repeating the procedure above.
Warning:
Avoid sudden movement of the lever when you loosen the steel wire. Press the lever slowly and firmly.
