OPERATING THE FLEXIBLE SHAFT
• Always allow the tool to operate as it was designed. Never force the
flexible shaft.
• Secure the workpiece to prevent movement.
• Hold the tool tightly and keep it a safe distance from other persons.
Always point the bit away from your body.
• Slow speed is best for polishing operations, delicate woodcarving, or
working on fragile model parts. High speed is suitable for operation on
hardwoods, metals and glass, such as: carving, routing, shaping, cutting
and drilling.
• Do not put the flexible shaft down until the bit stops rotating.
• Always disconnect the flexible drive shaft and any accessory attached
to it after use.
