If 

OL or -OL

 are displayed when in manual mode, the

measurement is outside the selected range and a different one
must be selected.

Using the Manual Range mode, when the scale of the value to be
measured is not known, select the highest range & lower the range
gradually.

The maximum permitted input voltage for the meter is  600V DC.
