7. If you are starting the power
washer ‘cold’ set the choke lever
to the CHOKE position (left). If the
power washer is warm then set
the lever to the ‘RUN’ position.
8. Turn the ignition key to the ‘ON’
position, then turn the key to the
‘START’ position and hold it there
until the engine starts. If the
engine fails to start within 5
seconds, then release the key and
wait at least 10 seconds before
operating the starter again.
9. When the engine starts, slowly
move the choke lever to ‘RUN’
position, as engine warms.
NOTE:
If the engine starts to falter,
move choke lever to ‘CHOKE’
position, then slowly back to
‘RUN’ position.
NOTE:
Using the electric starter for more than 5 seconds at a time will
overheat the starter motor and can damage it.
NOTE:
Allow the engine to run at no load, low pressure for 5 minutes after
each start-up so the engine can stabilize.
