BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONALITY
Your speakerphone can be paired with
a Bluetooth headdset – locate the user
guide for your headset to review the
method of activating the pairing mode
on your headset.
To pair a headset with your
speakerphone:
Put your headset in pairing mode; set the
headset near the speakerphone.
Go to the Bluetooth menu option, and
select “Pair”; the screen shows “Pairing…”
during the process.
The screen shows “Pairing successful”,
then returns to the idle screen; the text
“BT” is now added to the idle screen to
show the active Bluetooth connection.
To unpair the headset from your speak-
erphone, follow the steps to access the
Bluetooth menu, then choose “Unpair”.
Some headsets require unpairing from a
previous device in order to be able to pair
to a new device.
Bluetooth Call Scenarios:
Incoming call:
You can answer a call from your headset
by pressing the Call/End button on
your headset, or from the speaker-
phone by pressing the TALK button on
the speakerphone.
PHONE OPERATIONS
During a call:
If the call is in progress on your speaker-
phone, the screen displays a button (in
the upper right corner) named “BTHead-
set”; press this button to transfer the
call to your headset (button changes
to “Speaker”).
If the call is in progress in your headset,
press the “Speaker” button in the upper
right corner or the Call/End button on
your headset to transfer the call to your
speakerphone.
To end the call:
If the call is in progress in your headset,
press the Call/End button on your headset
to end the call.
If the call is in progress on your speaker-
phone, press the Talk button or the on-
screen Speaker button to end the call.
To place a call:
Press Call/End button on your headset;
you will hear the dial tone in your headset;
dial the number using the numeric dial pad
on your speakerphone
Start the call on your speakerphone and
then transfer the call to your headset (if
desired) by pressing the Call/End button
your headset or by pressing the on-
screen BTHeadset.

If the headset is out of the range of your
Fortissimo, the unit will beep and the
BT icon on the screen is turned off; to
