Maintenance
1. If the media clogs, the foam production will decrease. Simply take out
the media and clean it.
2. The foam cup should be cleaned once a week.
Notes
:
•
The water going to the unit should be pre-filtered to avoid blanket weed
clogging the filter media.
•
Food that contains high levels of fat could effect the efficiency of the foam
production. Try feed with less fat if this seem to be a problem.
•
A protein skimmer produce various amounts of foam during the day
•
The Clarity should be installed in conjunction with a mechanical and biological
filter.
