9. TROUBLESHOOTING
Power does not
turn on.
(No sound is
produced.)
No sound output
when operating
the unit with
amplifiers.
Nothing happens
when buttons are
pressed.

Sound skips or is

Sound is bad

power is turned

malfunctioned due to noise,

Compact disc is heavily
scratched or warped.
Water droplets may form on
the internal lens.
The microprocessor has not
stored the proper CeNET

Replace with a fuse of the same amperage. If the
fuse blows again, consult your store of purchase.
Consult your store of purchase.
Turn the unit off and check each wire for a possible
short. If the amplifier turn-on lead shorts out, cover it
with insulation such as tape.
Turn off the power, then
press the [RELEASE]
button and remove the
DCP.
Press the reset button for
about 2 seconds with a thin
rod.
Wipe the dirt off with a soft cloth moistened with
cleaning alcohol.
1. Check the speaker connection.
2. Turn down sound volume. Function can also be
restored by turning the power off and on again.
3. If the sound is muted again, consult your store of
purchase.
Eject the compact disc before loading the new one.
Clean the compact disc with a soft cloth.
Replace with a compact disc with no scratches.
Let dry for about 1 hour with the power on.
Perform a system check.
