7.4.
Coalescence filter
The air filter contains the actual filter
element, which with use can gradually
clog up, impairing correct operation of
the instrument.
REPLACEMENT
With reference to the drawings illu-
strating the internal layout of the com-
ponents, the filter element or entire
filter body is easily replaced, according
to the procedure described below.
• Turn off the generator as described in
par. 6.5. Stop the generator and par.
6.6. Generator shutdown;
• Disconnect the power cable then re-
move the front lower panel by loose-
ning the fixing screws (see figure at
top)
• Locate the filter

, positioned at the
centre of the generator.
• Withdraw the drain hose
B
from the
coupling on the lower section of the
bowl.
• Loosen the bowl by turning it anti-
clockwise.
• Remove the spent cartridge

• Insert the new cartridge
• Tighten the bowl.
• Refit the hose
B
in the coupling.
• Close the generator and reconnect the
power cable.
• The generator can now be restarted.
