Tightening torques for metric standard 
threads

The tightening torques specified below apply only if:

– a coefficient of friction of µ tot = 0.14 is reached in 

connection with thread grease.
To achieve this, surface protection such as 
A3C+L, Dacromet or Termosil is recommended.

– no other tightening torque is specified in the 

descriptive text.

– no additional screw locking such as microencap-

sulated bolts or liquid locking compound is used.
