LOADING A CD
1. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to the CD position.
2. Open the CD door manually.
3. Insert a disc with the label side facing up (if the disc is upside down, the LED DISPLAY
will show two zeros).
4. Close the CD door manually.
5. The LED DISPLAY will initially show two flashing dashes, followed by the overall
number of tracks on the disc.
6. To start playing the CD, press the CD player's PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (
). Track
number 1 will be shown in the LED DISPLAY and after a few seconds, the track will
start playing.
7. Adjust the volume to your personal taste.
8. Press the STOP BUTTON (
) to stop playback. To shut off the power, switch the
FUNCTION SWITCH to the TAPE position.
Note:
Never touch the laser lens inside the CD compartment. If the lens ever gets dirty, clean it
using a CD cleaner disc.
