5.1.5 PROGRAM BUTTON
The PROGRAM BUTTON enables you to program individual tracks for playback.
5.2
REMOVING THE TRANSPORT SAFETY DEVICE
Prior to inserting and playing a compact disc, you need to remove the transport safety
device.
To do that, open the CD compartment manually and carefully pull out the transport safety
device (a piece of white cardboard) to the top.
5.3
CARE AND HANDLING OF COMPACT DISCS
In order to achieve a long and trouble-free operation from your CDs, please observe the
following points.
•
When handling a CD, please avoid touching the playing surface and hold the disc by
its outer edge.
•
Do not expose a CD to direct sunlight, high temperatures or dusty environments.
•
Do not stick labels onto a CD and do not write on it with ballpoint- or other pens not
specifically designed for the purpose.
•
Clean a CD by wiping from the centre outward, never with a circular movement.
•
Use a clean, dry cloth. Do not use any type of cleaning agent or solvent.
When not in use, store the CDs in their original protective case.
