SPA8800 Debug and syslog
The SPA8800 supports writing debug and syslog messages to syslog servers. One server can be
used, or separate servers can be used to receive messages. Four levels of verbosity are
supported, 0 for no messages, 1 for terse, through 3 for verbose message output:
Following is an example of syslog information produced at Debug Level 3 [numbers changed]. This
example shows when the phone goes off hook, digits dialed, calling information, a report that an
unlisted codec is being requested, and when the phone goes back on hook:
