Sub-menu 1 -- RF Input
The illustration below shows sub-menu 1 of the OptoStar II RF switch module –
RF Input Power.
The RF input information shows/sets input level calibration and shows the RF
input level value of channel A.
Input RF signal respectively from channel A and channel B RF input ports.
Channel A signal is always for calibration. The cursor stays at “Calibrate”. Press
SET to calibrate and save the configuration. The channel A value will change to
“00.” Compare the channel A and channel B signals and display the result. If the
deviation is within the threshold (default value is 3 dB), it passes calibration and
channel A starts to work in auto mode. If the deviation is beyond the threshold,
the alarm will be triggered and channel A starts to work in auto mode. The table
below lists auto switching status under different conditions in the auto mode (1
stands for alarm; 0 stands for normal).

Note:
In item 3*, if the optical input in channel A is normal, and performs
continuous monitoring for 15 seconds, it will switch to channel A automatically,
with 0.5 dB of delay.
